Ontario Place Is Getting Its Own Drive-In Music, Comedy and Film Series
Toronto is getting another live entertainment drive-in series — and it's kicking off this weekend at Ontario Place.

Much like the INK Entertainment-fronted drive-in series announced before it, a new summer event titled "Toronto Shines" is moving to the city's waterfront to showcase coronavirus-mindful live entertainment.

Along with musical performances, the new drive-in event will also feature film screenings, comedy sets and DJ performances. Each night will host up to 185 cars worth of attendees.

Starting this Friday (July 17), the inaugural event will see performances by comedian Evan Carter, Steph La Rochelle and Rory Taillon, as well as a screening of Bohemian Rhapsody.

Night two (July 18) will feature comedian Kate Davis, musical act Sean Jones & the Righteous Echo and a screening of Ford v Ferrari.

In addition to the entertainment programming, the event will also play host to contactless food and drink delivery, which attendees can order through an app.

Tickets for the event are on sale now at the Toronto Shines website.
