Published Dec 05, 2019Netflix has announced plans for a new Taylor Swift documentary titled Taylor Swift: Miss Americana.
As recently reported, the film will debut at Sundance Film Festival on January 23, followed by a global streaming release early next year.
It's directed by Lana Wilson and produced by Morgan Neville, Caitrin Rogers and Christine O'Malley.
A press release describes the film as "a raw and emotionally revealing look at one of the most iconic artists of our time during a transformational period in her life as she learns to embrace her role not only as a songwriter and performer, but as a woman harnessing the full power of her voice."
The upcoming doc takes its name from "Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince" from Swift's latest album, Lover.
The singer previously partnered with Netflix for The Reputation Stadium Tour concert film last year.
