Fox News Criticizes Kacey Musgraves for Using Profanity in Gun Control Rant
Saying "fuck" is most definitely the biggest problem here

Fox News was, naturally, pissed about a country star speaking out against their precious automatic firearms, but they took a strange angle to their critique. Specifically, on Fox & Friends, host Ainsley Earhardt and her guest Todd Starnes (who, it must be noted, is the subject of many wonderful memes) complained that Musgraves said "fuck."
"She's up there preaching about gun control, but how about her language? What happened to wholesome country singers?" Earhardt said. "I suspect she was put on a church prayer list," Starnes responded.
"What about the kids? She's asking them to chant the F word. I thought about that. I don't want my daughter… I mean, these young girls, they look up to these musicians." Earhardt continued. "She sings two great songs that I've downloaded, 'Butterflies' and 'Rainbow,' I love those songs, but now I'm gonna look differently at her because she is chanting that vulgar language."
The pair went on to criticize Musgraves for speaking out against guns in her onstage rant. As Brooklyn Vegan explains, the full text of her Lollapalooza rant reads as follows:
Somebody fucking do something about the shit that's happening in the last 24 hours – much less everything that's happened in the last 200-and-fucking days in America. I don't know what the answer is, but obviously something has to be fucking done. Maybe somebody will hear us if we all yell together and say, 'Somebody fucking do something.'
She doubled down in a series of tweets, which you can read below. There, you'll also find the mind-numbing Fox & Friends video.
Don't you hear us, @realDonaldTrump? Don't you hear our pain? You have the power to become a hero. Why don't you take it? https://t.co/xyvGSDW0OW

For a man who clearly loves being well-liked, it's indescribably mind-numbing to see him blatantly and murderously ignore doing ONE THING that would not only make people happy but would SAVE PEOPLE'S LIVES. True leaders don't stand back and watch the world burn. @realDonaldTrump

I love keeping things about the music and usually stay out of politics publicly UNTIL it barrels past political party preference points and dangerously encroaches on fundamental human rights. It's then not political issue anymore. It's a matter of heart. Of humanity. Of survival.

Let me be clear - I'm from Texas. I grew up around hunting and guns. There's a time and place for that and even self protection in ways..but this is different. The system is majorly flawed and NOBODY NEEDS ANYTHING REMOTELY AUTOMATIC. PERIOD. They're mass killing machines. https://t.co/C4JvQWykRO

Hold your politicians accountable. Hold the president accountable. Start paying attention to actual ways we can make change happen. I promise I will too ♥️ Love to anyone out there w/ fear & anxiety like me. Hold on to your loved ones & let's all get thru this awful period alive.
