Published Aug 22, 2019British pop rockers the 1975 have released "People," the latest single from their upcoming fourth album, Notes on a Conditional Form. They've also treated the track to a blinding new video.
The video for the fuzzed-out tune finds the band performing in a cube-shaped room with video screens for walls. As the walls flash with rapid-fire imagery, text and bright lights, the camera rapidly jerks around. Unsurprisingly, the video kicks off with an epilepsy warning.
"People" is the second track from Notes on a Conditional Form to be officially released following "The 1975," which features teenage environmental activist Greta Thunberg. The album is set to be released on February 21, 2020.
The band's previous album, A Brief Inquiry into Online Relationships, was released in late 2018 and is currently nominated for the Mercury Prize.
