PJ Harvey Launches Vinyl Reissue Series with 'Dry' Repress
It's the album's first time on wax in nearly 20 years
Published May 28, 2020PJ Harvey's back catalogue is coming back to wax thanks to a new reissue campaign. The artist's eight solo albums and two collaborative efforts with John Parish will be released on vinyl over the next year through UMe/Island.
The reissue series will begin with a repress of Harvey's 1992 debut Dry, which has been remastered by original producer Head. The repress will arrive July 24 and is now available for pre-order.
Dry's reissue marks the first time it has been available on vinyl in nearly 20 years. A collection of demos that accompanied the album's initial release will also arrive as a standalone set for the first time ever. You can hear the demo version of "Sheela-Na-Gig" below, and can pre-order that collection here.
Details on further titles in the reissue series have yet to be revealed. Harvey's most recent solo album was 2016's The Hope Six Demolition Project. Last year, she shared original soundtrack material for All About Eve and The Virtues.
